Beginning her career in one of Sri Lanka’s foremost conveyancing chambers, Ayomi honed her expertise in real estate transactions, wills and probate matters. She developed a sharp eye for title verification, navigated complex land registry processes, and became well-versed in condominium property laws and the drafting of diverse legal instruments.
Her professional journey further expanded when she served as Group Legal Officer for a prominent renewable energy conglomerate. There, she expertly managed title reviews, facilitated the land acquisition for a hydro power project in Diyathalawa, and liaised with key regulators, including the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka, Central Environmental Authority and several governmental departments to secure necessary permits and approvals. Additionally, her role as a Legal Officer at a leading bank allowed her to advise on property titles for both private and commercial assets.
In the firm, Ayomi’s diverse experience translates into practical, tailored legal solutions that ensure seamless transactions. She is known for her proactive approach, deep understanding of Sri Lanka’s property law, and a commitment to delivering precise counsel.
